DHCD’s Operating Assistance Grants Now Open for Applications

The FY22 Operating Assistance Grant: Technical Assistance Grant application round is now open through Maryland’s Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD).

This program offers funding to support operating and technical assistance costs associated with local housing and community and economic revitalization projects and/or initiatives.

Applicants must serve communities that include designated Sustainable Community areas.

Eligible Applicants – Technical Assistance Grants

Nonprofit organizations, local governments, local development agencies and local development corporations involved in local community and economic revitalization activities.

Eligible Activities – Technical Assistance Grants

Include, but are not limited to, costs associated with consultants or services, a portion of general operating expenses and other costs directly associated with community development projects. Costs associated with consulting expertise/technical assistance or training for organizational development or community assessment and goal setting resulting in the expansion of an existing program or deployment of a new initiative, such as a revenue producing social enterprise.

FY2022 Operating Assistance Grant applications must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Friday, May 21.
