Ballet Theatre of Maryland

Ballet Theatre of Maryland, founded in 1978, is Maryland’s only professional ballet company. BTM produces high-caliber ballet performances that engage the mind and spirit and express Maryland’s unique voice through movement. BTM presents over 20 productions in theaters across the state, including Maryland Hall where they are a resident company. The company presents an annual production of The Nutcracker every December to sold out audiences. BTM offers outreach programs around the state bringing a series of lectures/demonstrations to schools and senior centers. The Conservatory for Ballet Theatre of Maryland offers classes in a variety of styles for ages 2 to adult.
