Baldwin Hall

Baldwin Hall
Historic Baldwin Hall, a one-story gable-front structure in the Italianate Carpenter Gothic style, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has been an active part of its local community since 1861. It is located on Old Generals Highway, a route traveled by General George Washington in 1783, on his way to Annapolis to resign his commission in the Continental Army (along which the Rising Sun Inn is also located). The building and its surrounding grounds have been restored for use as a community center.
