ArundelAg Mini Grant Program Now Accepting Applications

Preserving our region’s agricultural heritage is important to the Four Rivers Heritage Area, so we’re excited to share the following grant opportunity from our friends at the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation.

The ArundelAg Mini Grant Program was designed to assist Anne Arundel County Farmers with expansions costs. Max award amount is $1,000. Funds must be matched by the applicant.

Applications are due December 1. Awards will be announced in early January.

Requirements:

• Anne Arundel County farm
• Funds must be match one-to-one. Example: for a grant request of $500, the applicant must match $500 of their own funding toward the project. In-kind labor and matching funds from other state or federal grants are not eligible toward matching funds.
• Letter of reference from Soil Conservation, UMD Extension, Farm Bureau, or 4-H/FFA Leader.
