The Maryland Heritage Areas Program is seeking panelists to review heritage tourism grant applications for the upcoming grant round.
Did you know that grant applications submitted to the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority’s (MHAA) grant program are reviewed and recommended for funding by Marylanders? Does this sound interesting to you? Here’s your chance to get involved in the process!
The program is seeking panelists to review heritage tourism grant applications for the upcoming FY25 MHAA grant round. We are looking for folks from across the state with various backgrounds and experience in a broad range of areas, from construction and marketing to historic preservation, education, and outdoor recreation (see the full list of relevant areas on our nomination/application form). Panelists have a unique opportunity to learn about and support Maryland’s historic, cultural, and natural heritage.
To apply to serve or to nominate a colleague, fill out the form at bit.ly/mhaa_panel. Visit the Maryland Heritage Areas Program website for full information about the program.
Be sure to complete the form by January 8, 2024 for best consideration. After this date, nominations/applications will be accepted on a rolling basis for upcoming grant cycles where there are vacancies.
