Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime: The Truth About Grandparents

September 3 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Mr. Paca’s Garden Storytime is a fun hour full of reading and activities in the William Paca Garden, a secret treasure in the Historic District of Annapolis. Each program is designed for little ones, 3-7 years, with a book reading, song, craft/art project, and exploring in the Paca Garden.

This Week’s Book: The Truth About Grandparents by Elina Ellis

We’re celebrating Grandparents Day! Grandparents are slow. Grandparents are scared of new things. And grandparents definitely don’t dance — right? Though they may look over the hill, with “wrinkly faces, a little bit of hair, and funny teeth,” this set of grandparents is anything but. They are far from “not much fun,” “slow,” and “not bendy;” rather, with their grandchild, they go on daring roller-coaster rides, enjoy the roller rink, do yoga, play in a lively jazz band, dance, and take part in nighttime stargazing. Create a special craft for your grandparents or someone special to you!

Advance registration required, space is limited.

Cost: $10 per Child and $5 per Adult for General Admission; $8 per Child and Free for Adults for HA Members and Military
