Did you know the Four River Heritage Area offers sponsorships? Every year we have a limited amount of funding available each fiscal year that may be used towards the sponsorship of events or collaborative initiatives planned by one or more stakeholders. We look for new ideas that foster creative collaborations among multiple heritage-related organizations to build partnerships for the benefit of our local community. Notice of Funding Opportunity – Maryland Nonprofit Recovery Initiative

Governor Hogan is allocating $50 million to the Maryland Nonprofit Recovery Initiative (NORI) to assist nonprofit organizations whose critical operations have been financially impacted by COVID-19 and state-of-emergency. ​ The funding will be administered through four funding applications administered by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) or the Maryland Department of Commerce (Commerce). Eight Maryland Heritage Areas Authority Grants Awarded to Local Heritage Projects

The Hogan administration recently announced that 114 matching grants totaling $5.1 million were awarded to Maryland nonprofits, local jurisdictions, and other heritage tourism organizations by the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority (MHAA). These FY21 funds support heritage tourism projects and activities that draw visitors and expand economic development and tourism-related job creation throughout Maryland. New Maryland State Arts Council Grants – Public Art Across Maryland Program

Maryland State Arts Council recently announced two grant opportunities as part of its Public Art Across Maryland Program. Public Art Across Maryland (PAAM) grants are community grants awarded to Maryland organizations or local governments to support the planning and/or implementation of a public art project.
